The IndieFlix Foundation was formed by Scilla Andreen (CEO and Co-Founder of IndieFlix Inc.) in early 2011 to support the creation, distribution and exhibition of meaningful films. To facilitate widespread access to film, we provide finishing funds to filmmakers and underwrite the cost of screening a "Project Film" in under served communities who cannot afford exhibition fees. We create powerful film experiences by sponsoring the development of media literacy and film curriculum programming and by exploring the potential of non-traditional theatrical venues and new media technology.
